Program director of the inquiry-based learning program
English teacher
  • Revitalized the department by redefining the vision, coordinated with collaborative teams from different departments, and leading the inquiry-based learning program that consisted of 14 teachers, 1120 students and 20 projects. Projects included Discovering Local Cuisine, Exploring Ancient Chinese poems, Eastern and western cultures, Creating Bilingual Picture Books, Fan Festival, field trips and so on.

  • Initiated the English, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (E-STEAM) program. 

  • Encouraged the faculty to maintain a healthy work-life balance by organizing bi-weekly physical activities.

  • Taught classes of 112 students daily, and liaised with each student’ parent at least once a month. Over 50% of students won a variety of local prizes each year. Taught accumulatively over 800 students in 4 years.

  • Successfully conducted the "English Festivals" projects. Over 4000 students participated and 6000 audiences visited the exhibitions.

  • Published a school textbook and completed 8 books on lesson planning (internal).

English Festivals - Hello UK! 
The goal was to increase students' cultural awareness, create cross-cultural communication,  and build global perspectives.
This project consisted of 5 sub-projects: "Let's know" "Let's sing" "Let's read" "Let's make" and "Let's talk." 
It was conducted among 80 classes, over 4480 students.
More than 6000 audiences viewed students works.
