In the second week, we completed the first sprint by following the five-day sprint method that was derived from Google Ventures.
Day 2: Sketch our solutions
We conducted a lightning demo before investing time in developing solutions. A lighting demo is a short presentation in which team members take turns sharing the ideas and inspirations they got from their research into other products and industries. Gathering ideas and inspirations is important in creating something new.

We followed four steps to sketch the solutions that each member came up with. First, each individual wrote down the ideas and notes that they found useful from the lightning demo. Then, each member roughly sketched the ideas generated from their notes. Next, we spent twenty minutes sketching four of the ideas. Finally, each person sketched the best solution for the problem we were trying to solve.
Each member then presented their solution on the whiteboard. Following these presentations, we voted on each idea and developed a heat map consisting of the ideas or features that would help us achieve our project goal.
We found this exercise to be using in visualizing the solutions developed by each member of our team.
